The Theory of Multiple Intelligences


Howard Gardner, a psychologist and professor at Harvard University, In 1983 he first said that there are eight categories of human intelligence in his book "Frames of Mind." Each type represents a different way that a person processes information.

Logical-Mathematical: Skills require to conduct mathematical operations, perform procedures, and conduct scientific investigations.

Musical: The capability to sing and/or perform musical instruments may be required.

Naturalistic: The capability to identify various types of plants, animals, and other parts of nature and life.

Verbal Linguistic: Skills requires for awareness of word meaning, word order, and word sounds, rhythms, and inflections.

Interpersonal: The capacity to communicate well with others, sensitivity to the emotions, temperaments, and motives of others.

Bodily-Kinesthetic: Skills that involve using your body to exhibit your strength and fitness.

Visual-Spatial: The capability for abstract thought and multidimensional thinking.

Intrapersonal: The capability for planning and acting in light of one's own characteristics, as well as sensitivity to one's own sentiments, aspirations, and fears.
